— THE STUDIO

A private space for private work.

The Movement Bank studio is in Longcroft House, Liverpool Street, a few minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street station. Sessions are one to one, by appointment only.

— THE SPACE

A space arranged around the session.

The studio is a calm, private environment, designed around the work rather than a clinical setting. The intention behind it matters: this is not a space that asks you to think of yourself as a patient. It is a space where you settle in, and the work begins.

When you arrive, you check in at reception and I come to meet you. You leave with a clear practice for the week ahead.

The room is arranged around the session. Equipment is chosen specifically for the way I work and what each client needs. The familiar names are present, TRX, kettlebells, ropes. Alongside them, specialist tools you may not have seen elsewhere.

If you are coming directly from the office, there is space to change in the studio. Shower facilities are available in the building should you need them.

— GETTING HERE

Three minutes from Liverpool Street station.

The studio sits in Longcroft House, three minutes' walk from the main Liverpool Street station exit on Bishopsgate. Liverpool Street is one of the best-connected stations in central London, served by the Underground (Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines), the Elizabeth line, the Overground, and National Rail services to Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

If you are coming from the City, the studio is closer than most central-London options. If you are coming from outside London, Liverpool Street is the easiest approach.

— ON ARRIVAL

What to expect when you get here.

A first visit can feel unfamiliar. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.

01

ARRIVAL

Longcroft House is a short walk from the main Liverpool Street station exit on Bishopsgate. On arrival, check in at the building reception and Elizabeth will come to meet you and bring you through to the studio.

02

THE SESSION

Initial assessments run 90 minutes. Follow-up sessions are 55 minutes. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Bare feet is useful for foot-related assessment work. If you are coming directly from the office, there is space to change in the studio.

03

AFTER THE SESSION

You leave with a short, specific daily practice to work with between sessions. Usually 10 to 15 minutes. Not generic exercises. Specific inputs designed for your nervous system based on what the assessment found.

— REMOTE SESSIONS

Online sessions for existing and out-of-London clients

Some of the work translates online.
New client assessments are always done in person. The neurological testing requires hands-on work that cannot be replicated remotely.

For existing clients, online sessions work well for:

  • Home practice reviews

  • Progress check-ins between in-person sessions

  • Coaching conversations when you can't make it to London

  • Initial consultation calls for prospective clients outside London

Get in touch and we will tell you honestly what is and is not possible online before anything is booked.

— WHAT TO BRING

What to bring, what to wear

Comfortable clothing you can move in. Gym wear, yoga wear, or anything you would wear to a training session. Bare feet is helpful for the foot-related assessment work, so socks rather than trainers if you can.

If you are coming directly from work, there are facilities to change. Bring water if you would like. We have water available, but a flask of your own is fine

If you have any imaging, scans, or referral notes from another practitioner, please bring or forward them ahead of the first session.
